Fourth Amendment

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The fourth amendment is basically a protection against the people’s privacy and property Against any type of invasion by anyone specially the government such as policemen trying to search houses for certain type of evidence for any case. They would have to have permission first to be able to do that which is called a warrant. Once its granted on what the situation may be, then its permited to be able to do a search in one’s property.
