Ninth Amendment

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

  1. The ninth amendment is truly a interesting amendent. What makes it interesting in part is it’s vagueness. The 9th amendment simply means that other rights aside from those listed may exist, and just because they are not listed doesn’t they can be violated. This was a amendment that’s purpoes was to limit the government. To be specific limit the government to any rights that the people may have that were not specifically listed in the constitution.
